1. What different points of view do we see in this story? 

There are 2 points of view, each one thinks what he does is rigth, but they do not understand the other person idea. 
The white man wants to improve in life, wants changes, the best and confortable life.
The black man does not know 'a better life' so he just do what he can.

2. Explain the reasons behind the miscommunication that occurred between these two men.

They can not understand each other thougths. The black man knows that his life and his work is  want to do efforts without thinking about comfort.
The withe man thinks about how to be in certain position in society and  maximize his confornt.
